1) How long have you been working with Munash Organics?

18 awesome months!!  I think it’s actually almost two years since I first met Bec, in a café in Yarraville (where I was living at the time) to chat all things Instagram and indoor plants – the time has flown, but I’ve loved every minute of my Munash journey.

2) Describe a typical day in your job at Munash Organics :

I work remotely, so there’s no such thing as a typical day for me!  I try to schedule and block out time for different clients, but a huge part of of my job is research and I love to learn, so I can’t help but fall into various internet holes well past my bedtime.

I keep an eye on trends both social media and gardening wise, I wrack my brain to come up with weekly gardening puns, I scour the internet for gorgeous pics of indoor jungles and romantic gardens and I test recipes for pumpkin soup!  What more could a girl want?

3) What is your favourite thing about your job?

There’s so many things!  Constantly learning, working with passionate and inspiring people, getting to work from my own little indoor jungle, in front of a wood heater and being able to look out my window and see a couple of kangaroos hop past, or a few ducks swimming on the lake that is currently our back paddock!

4) Who or what inspires you?

Learning new things.  People who are passionate about what they do and think outside the box.  These are the things that make me want to be better and do better.

5) What is your favourite food?

Is wine a food?  If not – the perfect ham, cheese and tomato toastie would have to be right up there.

6) If you were a vegetable, what would you be?

Hmmmmm – maybe a broccoli, because I prefer cooler weather and am at my best when there’s a bit of lemon and chili about.

7) Do you have family, and/or pets? Describe your household.

I like in a very weird old farmhouse with my husband Joel and a small, yet fat cat named The Bandit.  Joel and I both work weird hours, but we do our darndest to make time for a wine and jaffle together if our paths manage to cross at an appropriate time!

Our back paddock is full of blue gums, cows (not ours), kangaroos and the most amazing birdlife.  It’s pretty hard to imagine a life now without squawking cockies and being woken up by singing magpies.

8) Do you have any hobbies?

I may have mentioned wine a few times…  I’m currently studying it, so reading about wine and drinking wine takes up a lot of my spare minutes – it’s a hard life.

9) What’s your one gardening tip you love to tell people?

Plants make any space happier!  Just start with one if you’re intimidated…  and if your trajectory is anything like mine, you’ll be living in an indoor jungle in no time!

Oh – and use Munash Indoor Plant products of course!

10) If you could change one thing in the world to help the planet/humanity, what would it be?

I’d love to be able to magically make everyone treat others they way they’d like to be treated.  It’s a pretty simple philosophy really.
